For years, I lived with an unspoken equation: my worth equaled the depth of my sacrifice. I learned to perform for love, to compete for safety, and to measure myself against invisible standards, until my body, my marriage, and my soul finally collapsed under the weight of it all. This book was born from that collapse and from the mercy of God that met me there.
Through a defining dream, the Lord showed me that I wasn’t just running a race against other people; I was running a race without a source. Inspired by the clinical “Five Rights” used in medicine to protect patients from harm, this message became a spiritual framework designed to protect the believer’s soul from the quiet dangers of comparison, performance, and self-reliance.
